We are pleased to offer Happiness 2.0 being taught by Melanie MacDonald, who is an authorized Jacqueline de Jonge instructor again in the new year. We are offering in two options--either Friday classes or Saturday classes due to the demand Join her as you will explore the 13 essential BeColourful techniques through the Happiness 2.0 quilt pattern. The techniques include: paper piecing, creating a centre star, spikes, inset circles, working with templates, second seam allowances, how to get a perfect corner, sashing, flying geese, nesting seams, how to pin baste, how to ease fabrics and how to use fabrics sparingly. Happiness 2.0 finishes at 38 x 38” making it an ideal wall hanging. Saturday, October 19 and Saturday, November 23 from 10-3:30 each date While this pattern was designed as an introduction to BeColourful techniques, please note that it is not an introduction to paper-piecing. Class participants should have knowledge of paper-piecing techniques. Need fabric inspiration?
