Both are using the same techniques and trim tool. Using this new tool you will be making and creating wonderful blocks easy and stress free. This all starts with simple squares and rectangles. The tool allows you to make the blocks in three different sizes --adding creative color placement and a variety of Hunter's Star quilts. Come and join the fun

Learn how to use the structural stays to help keep your bags shape. Great bag for large print fabrics. The Giant Poppins is great for using a panel. This pattern comes in a small(Mini Poppins), medium(Little Poppins), large(Poppins) and extra large(Giant Poppins) size. You choose the size you would like to do as all are the same method. We are pleased to offer Happiness 2.0 being taught by Melanie MacDonald, who is an authorized Jacqueline de Jonge instructor again in the new year. We are offering in two options--either Friday classes or Saturday classes due to the demand Join her as you will explore the 13 essential BeColourful techniques through the Happiness 2.0 quilt pattern. The techniques include: paper piecing, creating a centre star, spikes, inset circles, working with templates, second seam allowances, how to get a perfect corner, sashing, flying geese, nesting seams, how to pin baste, how to ease fabrics and how to use fabrics sparingly. Happiness 2.0 finishes at 38 x 38” making it an ideal wall hanging. Saturday, October 19 and Saturday, November 23 from 10-3:30 each date While this pattern was designed as an introduction to BeColourful techniques, please note that it is not an introduction to paper-piecing. Join Paulette as she teaches you how to take one Jelly Roll along with background and an accent fabric to create this stunning oversized throw(or can be made larger with additional fabric). Paulette will teach you how this pattern includes cutting instructions for the logs that every inch of your fabric is utilized. As these blocks finish approx 12" you will be able to create this quilt in a short period of time.
